Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in the enterprise software or cloud industry working within the sales organization in a chief technical officer, sales, or sales engineering role.
  • Experience in the government public sector space.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time as needed.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in building and scaling programs.
  • Experience managing budgets and optimizing
    return on investment (ROI).
  • Experience in a sales or go-to-market growth role, in a high-growth technical company.
  • Excellent planning, problem-solving, verbal, written communication, presentation, and active listening skills.
  • Proven track record of launching and scaling growth initiatives.

Google Public Sector Specialty Sales acts as a trusted advisor and partner to government and education organizations, helping them leverage the power of Google Cloud, DataAI, Google Workspace and Google Security to achieve missions and better serve the public.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$194,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Partner with Speciality Sales Leadership to build and refine a Public Sector strategy to meet and exceed goals by expanding the portfolio with new logo acquisitions and driving strategic expansion.
  • Lead and support critical projects based on ever growing business needs. Structure and execute analyses required to develop requirements, present to executives and operationalize action plans.
  • Strategize routes to market, roles, demand plan, and location strategy contributing to the annual planning and driving execution to achieve business and financial results.
  • Drive cadence with priority customers and partners (e.g., executive briefing centers, roadmap, monthly meetings) in partnership with sales organization and aligned with account plans validated with customer based on understanding of key customer business objectives and alignment to Google broad value.
  • Drive seamless customer engagement strategy by Inclusion of sales team.
