Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- Experience in one or more general purpose programming languages (e.g., C++, Java, Python, Go).
- Experience designing, developing, and deploying large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience with filesystems and their usage.
- Experience with control plane, data plane and their interoperability, and integration with the relevant platform.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related field.
- 12 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript) and 5 years of experience in a technical lead role overseeing projects.
- Experience in leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Experience solving ambiguous problems with significant impact.
- Excellent communication and people management skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence others.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively with product managers, UX designers, researchers, and other cross-functional Engineering teams to define and deliver products.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities.
- Be a technical leader and mentor, drive the development of large-scale, high-impact projects. Collaborate with diverse teams, set technical direction, and ensure the delivery of innovative solutions.
- Establish engineering discipline, sense of technical ownership, high standards for code quality, and code reviews while promoting best practices. Identify opportunities to make product/module/features accurate, robust and scalable.
- Lead planning, execution and delivery of large cross-functional/company projects. Manage timelines, resources and risks. Lead and mentor junior members in the team.
