Sales Operations Lead, Devices and Services

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in go-to-market strategy, sales operations, strategy and operations, management consulting, finance, or program management.
- Experience with core business operations (e.g., annual business planning, headcount management, running business reviews, or target setting).
- Experience working with executive-level clients or stakeholders.
- Experience with data analysis, and generating data-driven insights.
Preferred qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in planning, target setting, business analysis, sales operations, or a related field.
- Experience with sales incentive structures and planning, especially in the hardware or consumer electronics industry.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Slides, low to medium proficiency in SQL.
- Proven ability to analyze complex data, identify key insights, and develop strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.
The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.
Responsibilities
- Play a key role in the planning and development of sales incentive programs to drive performance and reward achievement against goals.
- Drive the annual planning cycle, aligning ambitious growth expectations with realistic assessments of market opportunities and internal capabilities across all hardware product lines.
- Collaborate closely with the regional sales VP and country sales leads to gain an understanding of their business landscapes.
- Work with existing team members to identify opportunities to improve efficiency in communication and operational workflows with regional and global stakeholders.
- Utilize Google sheets and SQL to analyze historical sales data, market trends, and business insights to inform goal setting and annual plan development.
