Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in product design or User Experience (UX).
- 4 years of experience interacting with clients/leadership and owning projects.
- Experience in designing across multiple platforms, and working with technical/design teams to create user flows, wireframes, and building user interface mockups and prototypes.
- Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in designing for consumer-facing products.
- Experience with motion design and quick prototyping (e.g., principle, framer etc.).
- Knowledge of technical constraints and limitations as they apply to designing for platforms such as desktop and mobile (e.g., Android and web).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence product design strategy.
- Excellent problem-solving and visual design skills.

Photos is one of the most sought after products at Google and is looking for both client-side (web and mobile), with server-side (search, storage, serving) and machine intelligence (learning, computer vision) Software Engineers. We are dedicated to making Google experiences centered around the user.
Responsibilities
- Drive UX design for key sharing flows and establish partnerships with third-party apps.
- Translate user needs into compelling designs through user journeys, storyboards, low/high-fidelity mockups, detailed interaction specifications, and interactive prototypes.
- Collaborate with Google Photos and other Google Product teams across time zones to develop solutions.
- Simplify concepts into relatable narratives that represent real user experiences.
- Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.
