Instructional Designer, Mandiant

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience as an instructor, in curriculum development, or as a professional educator (such as K12).
  • Experience with instructional design principles and processes.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to identify the need to track/organize key information as well as the ability to establish spreadsheets for tracking.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively within all levels within the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills along with research and documentation skills.
  • Excellent organization and follow-up skills with attention to detail.

As an instructional designer, you will provide curriculum development expertise and support on an array of projects, with a focus on e-Learning course development, allowing our team to bring projects to close and improve the quality of content developed across the organization. This includes, but is not limited to, needs analysis, course development, documentation support, and evaluation. You will have the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, and demonstrate attention to detail resulting in the delivery of high-quality work products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $85,500-$125,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Support all phases of the curriculum life cycle: analysis, development, delivery, evaluation, and maintenance.
  • Build e-Learning courses using software tools/platforms such as Evolve and Articulate.
  • Research current and emerging e-learning technologies such as: wikis, blogs, collaborative or social networking tools, mobile devices etc.
  • Format, edit, and prepare learning content and materials as required for client deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain Instructor-led and self-study learning materials for various audiences.
