Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program management, business operations, internal communications, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in compliance, information security, IT audit, or risk management.
  • Experience in developing and implementing internal communication strategies.
  • Experience with operational process management and rhythm of business activities.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships or agreements.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 6 years of experience in business operations or program management within a large, global organization.
  • Experience in designing and executing team culture or morale initiatives.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, and strong organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with OKR frameworks and strategic planning processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Google's Data Center, Compliance, Strategy and Risk Management team (CSRM) is a dedicated organization chartered with protecting the people and assets of Google’s global critical infrastructure.

As a member of the team, you will help develop a culture where security, risk, and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop industry leading programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overarching internal communications strategy, including managing All-Hands meetings, global newsletters, and intranet content to keep the team informed and aligned.
  • Design and implement initiatives focused on boosting team morale, supporting professional development, and enhancing cross-regional connections to prevent siloed work.
  • Establish and manage the internal operational cadence, including organizing and running leadership meetings, tracking Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), and coordinating strategic planning cycles.
  • Drive strategic backend operations, including managing, monitoring, and setting governance standards for vendor engagements and workflows, processing central contracts, and tracking budget utilization.
  • Coordinate and deliver internal onboarding and cross-functional enablement sessions to ensure partner teams understand the team's structure and engagement protocols.
