Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in program or project management.
- Experience in Supply Chain Logistics and Transportation Industry, Operations Management, Business Analysis, and Business Communication.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in driving logistics operations within a multinational logistics supply chain or key account management role at a global logistics company.
- Experience in import/export/domestic logistics with experience in international logistics.
- Strong communication skills with experience influencing senior level stakeholders.
- Knowledge in India customs clearance processes, regulations, dangerous goods, security processes and Implementation in logistics systems (TMS, WMS, OMS).

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
The Platforms and Ecosystems product area encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications). The products provide enterprises, and ultimately end users, the ability to utilize and manage their services at scale. We build innovative and compelling software products—from apps to TVs, from laptops to phones—that have an impact on people’s lives across the world.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a logistics strategy for engineering shipments and directly manage carriers, vendor teams, and remain operationally active to ensure the success of daily operations.
- Collaborate with key leadership stakeholders, understand their requirements and develop the solutions and infrastructure to meet the long term business needs.
- Collaborate across multiple cross-functional teams, suppliers and carriers (i.e, new supplier, new lane setup, delivery term change implementation, etc.).
- Create documents to document process flows, reporting and exception management, while support system development initiatives.
- Establish and oversee local strategies for logistics security, dangerous goods compliance and packaging efficiency optimization with proactive communication on operational and regulatory changes with cross-functional stakeholders.
