Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in acoustic design and execution on consumer electronic products.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- 6 years of experience leading acoustic design and execution for consumer electronics.
- Experience in shipping acoustic solutions from product concept through production.
- Experience leading acoustic solutions for mobile phone or related products.
- Experience with acoustic test tools (SoundCheck, Klippel, Audio Precision, Polytec, etc.) and simulation tools (COMSOL, Ares, etc.).
- Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills, including translating technical trade-offs to customer impact, influencing product decisions, and navigating and resolving ambiguity.

Responsibilities
- Lead the acoustic architecture design and simulation in new consumer electronic hearable devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional design, engineering, product, operations teams to achieve acoustic solutions balancing performance, space, cost, and user experience goals.
- Collaborate with vendors and technology partners to scope new components and technologies.
- Conduct acoustic simulations and lab testing of acoustic modules and products to validate performance.
- Support module and product factories to define and guide assembly, test, failure analysis efforts.
