Mid-Market Territory Manager, GCP, Go-To-Market SMB and Scaled Sales, DACH

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in one or more of the following: sales, client relationship, business development or account management.
  • Experience in technology sales, focusing on developing relationships with business customers and growing their business.
  • Ability to communicate in German and English fluently in order to interact in this customer-facing sales role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in a customer-facing environment.
  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, etc.).
  • Experience selling solutions to help businesses transition from on premise to the cloud.
  • Experience collaborating/co-selling with channel partners in your market.
  • Experience in technical or sales engineering in computer science or information systems.
  • Understanding of the technology and cloud computing market, and a passion for Google Cloud products (e.g., Google Workspace, Google Cloud Platform).

In this role, you'll help medium-sized business market companies drive their technology strategy through the use of our products. You will engage with multiple high growth companies, driving the entire business cycle with the help of our partners in regions. You will be responsible to drive attainment on business goals. You will also help shape and execute our regional partner strategy alongside our partner teams. You will also manage new initiatives or experiments, while also using your ability to manage stakeholders across many different functional teams to execute quickly and to drive success. You will work to develop the business growth for an assigned territory through campaigns, partner development and marketing events.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain executive relationships with customers in the Small-and-Medium-sized Business (SMB) and upper mid-market space, influence long-term strategic direction, and act as a trusted advisor in the Germany (D), Austria (A), and Switzerland (CH) (DACH) market.
  • Develop and execute a territory business plan, and build account plans across key verticals.
  • Qualify and assist customers in identifying use cases suitable for Google Cloud deployment. Articulate key differentiators and typical customer journeys, displaying a passion for computer science and cloud technology.
  • Manage multiple opportunities through the entire cycle simultaneously. Work with cross-functional teams as necessary and serve as the primary customer contact for all business-related activities.
  • Execute demand generation activities as needed, and engage, educate and ensure satisfaction of the installed base.
