Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

The Platform and Devices Infrastructure and Operations team’s mission is to make Android and Chrome easy to change, hard to break, and ship efficiently.

In this role, you will be responsible for Android and Chrome's build, test, and release infrastructure, processes, and staff. You will cover Android, Chrome Browser, ChromeOS, and assist many other software projects and teams. You will build automation, tools, and systems to enable engineering productivity, while ensuring the quality of the products we ship to our users remains high. You will enable the Android, Chrome Browser and ChromeOS teams to work outside of Google’s standard infrastructure with external contributors and partners, and help empower an ecosystem of collaboration both within Google, and externally.

Chrome OS delivers quality computing at scale to provide universal and unfettered access to information, entertainment, and tools. Our mission is to empower anyone to create and access information freely through fast, secure, simple, and intelligent computing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product management for developer-focused products, tools, and technologies, encompassing engineering user interfaces.
  • Own the goal to increase productivity of Google developers.
  • Identify opportunities to increase developer satisfaction and happiness, define product goal, strategy and roadmap for developer products and tools.
  • Partner with Engineering, UX, cross-functional teams to build, launch products, systems, tools and drive adoption to deliver end-user impact.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Product Area across Chrome Browser, Chrome OS and Android.
