Play Partnerships, Global Apps (English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business development, subscriptions or publisher partnerships, consulting, or marketing.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to support client relationship management globally including North America.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration.
  • Experience in mobile app ecosystems or digital platforms with the ability to use Generative AI (GenAI) tools and Large Language Models (LLMs) to streamline processes.
  • Experience in collaborating across global and multi-functional team and navigating environments.
  • Experience as consultant with a start up team in matrixed environment.
  • Ability to support markets in different timezones, including North America.

You cultivate these existing partnerships to make sure they can take full advantage of Google's ever-growing suite of offerings. You possess strong relationship-building skills and are apt to see mutually beneficial opportunities with partners in order to best represent our users, products and programs.

In this role, you will be managing important partnerships for Google. You will pitch and execute business agreements and product features, and track impact, in partnerships with local partner managers. You will have stellar relationship-building skills, strong negotiation skills, and provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis to our biggest mobile partners across the world. You will anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google Play’s partners and understand how our range of product offerings can help their apps.

Responsibilities

  • Work with global teams to craft a compelling narrative for apps partners that highlights the benefits of new investment areas for Play.
  • Develop relationships with Books publishers and partners. You will support these partners by delivering the best of Play to them insights, resources, tools and solutions that can help them build better content, user experience and business generation.
  • Work and collaborate with all related cross-functional stakeholders including Product, Engineering, Go-To-Market (GTM), Trust and Safety and Legal.
  • Build agreements terms, plan offers and pricing, activate offers, and track impact.
  • Update partner and internal stakeholders on performance metrics, including overall Play value both internally and externally.
