Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or management consulting.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
- Experience in project management.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience managing complex, end-to-end partnerships.
- Experience in web publishing, gaming, or mobile apps industry.
- Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.
- Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.
- Excellent people management, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to provide insightful, data-driven strategic recommendations to the partners, leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

As a Business Development Manager, you will unlock new strategic partnerships across AdSense, AdMob, and Google Ad Manager. You will establish yourself as a premier thought leader and monetization expert. By combining product mastery with a strategic mindset, you will transform untapped potential into long-term growth, operating as a sophisticated consultant capable of influencing everyone from C-suite executives to internal product leads.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
Responsibilities
- Identify new market opportunities and enable top partnerships to adopt ads monetization business models.
- Grow a pipeline of high potential prospects and sell-in ad monetization solutions to net new customers.
- Build executive level relationships with your partners by being a trusted advisor, sharing business and product expertise, and by providing exceptional customer support.
- Onboard and grow new accounts and troubleshoot technical onboarding issues.
- Collaborate with a variety of teams at Google to ensure your publisher partners have access to product experts while also helping shape the evolution of our monetization offerings.
