We are passionate about making Google Pay and Wallet the most user-friendly and accessible payment platform in Japan and multiple markets. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on innovative products like eWallets, Tap to Pay, QR payments, Loyalty Programs etc. collaborating with top payment providers in the market. We build payment features in collaboration with other Google products. Our team grows in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where we address unique challenges and make a real impact on users' lives by increasing financial access.
Whether it is paying online with Autofill, using tap and pay in stores, or using the Google Pay app, the Payments team at Google is focused on making payments simple, seamless, and secure. In addition to consumer payment technologies, the Payments team also powers the money movement between Google and its consumers and businesses.Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and launch Google Pay and Wallet features on several Google products.
- Work on both front-end and back-end systems, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to integrate eWallets, Loyalty and other payment solutions into Google products.
- Work on projects end-to-end, from prototype to launch, and contribute to Google Pay's mission of becoming the preferred digital payment platform across the region.
