Engagement Manager, gTech Ads SDS

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in a technical sales, sales engineering, or professional consulting.
  • Experience in web/cloud technologies as well as data infrastructure.
  • Experience in customer-facing, translating technical concepts and solutions to non-technical and executive audiences.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
  • 8 years of experience managing projects and working with analytics, software coding, or customer-side web technologies.
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role with/without direct reports.
  • Ability to grow in ambiguity, solve complex problems and navigate effectively across a large organization and highly distributed team.
  • Passion for resolving customer objectives within their existing constraints and for industry’s latest trends and innovations.

gTech Ads is responsible for all support and media and technical services for customers big and small across our entire Ad products stack. We help our customers get the most out of our Ad and Publisher products and guide them when they need help. We provide a range of services from enabling better self help and in-product support, to providing better support through interactions, setting up accounts and implementing ad campaigns, and providing media solutions for customers business and marketing needs and providing complex technical and measurement solutions along with consultative support for our large customers. These solutions range from bespoke and customized ones for our customers to scalable support for millions of customers worldwide. Based on the evolving needs of our ads customers, we partner with Sales, Product and Engineering teams within Google to develop better solutions, tools, and services to improve our products and enhance our client experience. As a cross-functional and global team, we ensure our customers get the best return on investment with Google and we remain a trusted partner.

As an Engagement Manager, you will be key to creating an excellent experience for Google’s top Ads clients, by being accountable for gTech service delivery and enabling business objectives. gTech Engagement Managers serve as a unified services partner who design and orchestrate gTech services, and represent gTech Ads to sellers and client executives. gTech Ads is a team of thought leaders, addressing our clients’ complex business tests, and program managers, designing plans and gathering resources to help accomplish our ambition for excellent experience.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $137,000-$200,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Responsibilities

  • Become a trusted advisor to top Ads clients by understanding how technology and media solutions can address their business tests. Acting as a collaborative thought partner and architecting services plans to accomplish their goals.
  • Discover customer needs by understanding clients’ goals in collaboration with business, assessing and prioritizing where we can add value and drive uplift.
  • Design and finalize a joint services plan by aligning solutions and resources to client focus areas. Unlock new opportunities for growth by scoping projects, including technical services, customer support services and media services.
  • Orchestrate delivery of services plan working closely with execution teams in region, Customer Support and Media Solutions.
  • Act as a primary point of accountability go-to-market and execution by conducting debriefs on progress, gathering insights and staying informed and proactive on troubleshooting challenges and trends.
