Partner Development Manager, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in a partner or channel manager position.
  • Experienced at building scalable partner ecosystems ranging from agile partners, integrators and global system integrators.
  • Experience in public cloud solutions across Software-as-a-Service, Platform-as-a-Service and Infrastructure-as-a-Service markets.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in a partner or channel manager position.
  • Experience with Cloud Partners in the region.
  • Experience in cross-functional organization.
  • Knowledge of System Integrators (SIs)/Service Providers (SPs) and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), Cloud ecosystem.
  • Understanding of foundational cloud technologies.
  • Excellent partner development and management skills, with shown success in delivering Go-To-Market strategies and results.

As a Partner Development Manager (PDM), you are responsible for a dedicated set of partners and their growth and impact for our business results. You will focus on growing the practices of partners who specialize in the Google Cloud business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage business performance of partners and map partner capabilities and priorities with Google goals and strategies to meet/exceed quarterly business goals. Drive quarterly business reviews with key service partners and Google leadership.
  • Drive Partner value propositions into the field sales community and help Field Sales Representatives (FSRs) to work with prioritized Partners in a compliant way.
  • Help partners grow their Google practice and product portfolio through joint development of solutions and services. Develop and provide custom presentations on Google’s Cloud platform technologies to partners, to help them scale our joint business.
  • Shape Google’s approach to partnership strategy with stakeholders in partner programs, product management, engineering, sales, and marketing. Support regional engagement with strategic global and regional partners.
  • Comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
