Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in digital media, sales, marketing, or product roles.
- Experience working with digital organizations.
- Experience in YouTube and video advertising.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with television or social planners/buyers, brand developers and agencies, and creators.
- Experience in project management leading operational initiatives.
- Understanding of the video industry, a goal for its growth, and a commitment to advance Google's forward-looking strategies within the marketplace.
- Ability to manage an operational cadence around retail’s YouTube/video revenue pacing and pipeline (including agreements and upfront).
- Ability to partner with sales teams to enable/build and foster long-term executive brand level relationships with television budget owners/decision makers.
- Excellent problem solving skills, with impeccable business judgment and clear communication.

In this role, you will lead video strategy and activation to deliver growth across retail verticals. You will drive accountability to the business by persistently exploring and uncovering business opportunities, developing industry go-to-market plays and partnering with teams to grow our YouTube business across awareness, performance and shopping solutions. You will anticipate how decisions are made, where our video products fit in, and collaborate with our sales teams to drive growth. You will provide Google-caliber client service, shaping the retail video strategy focused on our customer’s business objectives.Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $124,000-$180,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Partner with vertical sales teams to provide YouTube business growth, driving support through industry/business knowledge, product expertise and go-to-market strategy.
- Close high growth annual video agreements to deliver against customers’ business objectives, unlocking commercial value.
- Manage key video initiatives and communications to ensure consistent and well executed deployment at scale.
- Influence cross-functional stakeholders across sales and product based on business rationale, advertiser needs and business growth opportunities for the sector.
- Represent product gaps and opportunities to accelerate business opportunity.
