You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As a part of the Platforms Project Management Organization (PMO) team, the Machine learning (ML) System PMO team leads the programs that build and deliver ML Tensor Processing Unit (TPU) systems for internal product areas and Cloud customers.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using engineering knowledge. You will plan requirements with internal customers and guide projects through the entire project life-cycle. You will manage projects of various size and scope, identify future opportunities, improve processes, and drive the technical directions of the programs.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead technical program management for machine learning system New Product Introduction (NPI) across all phases of the product life-cycle.
  • Shape technical direction across multiple teams, adding value to various engineering efforts.
  • Manage escalations and unblock obstacles, ensuring all leadership/stakeholders are aware of progress/blockers on a continuous basis.
  • Guide alignment on timelines, goals, and deliverables of related projects and teams, drive strategic and tactical decisions throughout all organizations and levels.
  • Drive platform infrastructure engineering activities and program manage across diverse cross-functional teams.
