Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in advertising sales, marketing technology, management consulting, or product management.
  • 2 years of experience working with product management or engineering teams, executive leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience with Google Ads search products.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with digital advertising, including Video/Display (YouTube), DR products (Search+), and Measurement/Privacy (xPS).
  • Ability to be data-driven and highly analytical, with demonstrated experience of translating data and trends into recommendations, strategies, and actionable insights.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and influence executive leadership through judgment and data.
  • Ability to drive impact in a changing, ambiguous environment.
  • Excellent thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead operational initiatives cross-functionally.

Global Solutions is the link between Google products and business. Your focus is to help turn innovation into complete, packaged tools that allow our customers to get the most that they need from our products. As part of the Global Solutions team, you'll help to ensure that Google has adopted the right strategy for our products.

As a Global Product Solutions Lead (GPSL), you will be responsible for leading cross-team strategies that act as the connective tissue between Product Management, regional Go-To-Market, Specialist teams, and other GPS teams. You will work in close collaboration with our partners in-region to understand the specific needs of customers and account teams around the world.

The Local Ads GPS team partners with product and sales to define and execute the go-to-market strategy for Google's innovative Local Ads products. By optimizing the interplay between GBP, LSA, and Local Search (Ads and Organic) we provide advertisers with local goals as a toolkit to meet users at every stage of their local journey.

You’ll leverage your expertise to inspire sellers and customers to expand their adoption of key Local solutions across Google Ads. You'll work closely with technical Product Managers (TPMs) and our Sales teams globally to contribute to the development of those solutions.

In this role, you’ll also partner closely with other GPSLs and regional go-to-market teams to identify product gaps and brainstorm solutions to bring to life with TPM. As a member of the Local GPSL team, you will be a thought leader in landing our go to market strategy and scaling product adoption globally.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $153,000-$222,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Gather and prioritize sales feedback, work closely with Product Management teams across Lead Generation, PMax, measurement and bidding to influence the product roadmap.
  • Collaborate with regional go-to-market partners to identify needs of our customers and sales teams globally.
  • Communicate and commercialize launches and changes to global account teams.
  • Plan and execute, global launch strategy and commercialization efforts.
  • Drive business growth and customer enablement through sales documentation, effective market narratives, sales training, and go-to-market communications.
