Strategic Partner Manager, Scaled Partnerships (English, Spanish)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience working in digital content/media, business, business development, or consultative role.
  • Experience in the video, media, entertainment industry.
  • Experience as a YouTube creator or working with partners or creators.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to collaborate with partners in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in project management using project execution frameworks.
  • Ability to interact comfortably with stakeholders at all levels of an organization, as well as collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Ability to analyze data and insights and translate in an external-friendly way.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, planning and time/pipeline management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and proven track record of improving processes.
  • Excellent objection handling, managing sensitive communication, and basic agreement negotiation skills.

About the job

In this role, you will negotiate content-licensing agreements with partners as you will be working cross-functionally with colleagues in Product, Engineering, Business, Operations, Finance, and Legal to ensure our partners are positioned for success and our users enjoy the best experience possible. You should also expect to initiate and manage day-to-day operations and partner relationships, fielding and prioritizing incoming requests, troubleshooting partner systems around reporting, content management and Content ID, and creating periodic reports (external and internal) on partner performance. You will have the opportunity to create relationships with our partners, to renew existing partnerships, and to optimize potential opportunities. Your cultivation to these existing partnerships will ensure the utilisation of YouTube's ever-growing suite of offerings. You will have an opportunity to apply and hone the business skills in an environment that is entrepreneurial.

Responsibilities

  • Establish scaled strategic relationships with partners through different engagement types.
  • Drive product adoption, optimization across YouTube priorities and support creators in their content, monetization and viewership goals.
  • Ensure your partner portfolio complies with YouTube’s Community Guidelines and business generation policies and support them in navigating YouTube’s support and operations teams.
  • Engage with and understand the latest features, policies, and platform improvements to help partners succeed.
  • Manage initiatives to grow emerging creators, including workshops, events and other scaled initiatives.
