Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in partner management or business development in online advertising, data on-boarding or ad-tech industry including handling sensitive partnerships in policy contexts.
- Experience identifying partners, analyzing and structuring agreements.
- Experience in partner management including handling sensitive partnerships in policy-complex contexts.
- Experience operating with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Marketing, etc) to drive successful partnerships or projects.
- Ability to balance engaging tasks and manage time-sensitive projects/agreements in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage ambiguity in a rapidly changing business environment.

As a Strategic Partner Development Manager, you will have the opportunity to create a long-lasting relationship with our most important partners. You will establish, nurture, and expand key strategic relationships to ensure that they drive continued success for Google, for our partners, and for our advertisers. You will work cross-functionally to implement impactful new partnerships and manage existing strategic relationships. You will use your knowledge of relevant verticals and industry players will help shape our Privacy Centric Measurement and Online-to-Offline solutions. You will separately drive critical projects from beginning to end, manage most important data partner relationships, and develop a strategic perspective on the latest industry trends and market opportunities.The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
Responsibilities
- Develop understanding of Google advertising products and strategy, in particular Privacy Centric Measurement and Data for Performance products such as Enhanced Conversions and Tagging.
- Negotiate, launch and implement new data partnerships that are set up for continued success through interaction with critical cross functional stakeholders (e.g., on-boarding, activation).
- Manage and optimize ongoing partnership execution and maintain operational excellence (e.g., establishing success metrics and enabling partners to achieve them, enforcing service level agreements, tracking and processing payments, and reporting on key metrics).
- Escalate operational issues and present recommendations to the management team.
- Drive partnership growth plans, keep all stakeholders informed on key developments, and bring new opportunities to the partnership.
