Technical Program Manager III, Android Partner Engineering

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As a Technical Program Manager in Android Partner Engineering you will be responsible for driving efforts across Android Test Suites, Google Mobile Service (GMS) requirements, device approvals, security, Gemini adoption and device quality. Your work will scale across hundreds of millions -- and even billions -- of devices across the globe.

You will own and release that serves over 3 billion users, you will manage some of Google's technical partnerships and represent the Android ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and lead cross-functional teams across Google and Android partners to define and drive program goals and roadmaps.
  • Oversee project planning and execution, monitor and communicate progress against key dependencies and milestones to stakeholders.
  • Represent technical teams in project and product related discussions with internal teams and external partners.
  • Manage issues and escalations to unblock obstacles that impact project deliverables and timelines.
  • Drive process, measurement, and documentation improvements for our program portfolio to help increase scalability and velocity.
