Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in product management, marketing, management consulting, or project management in technology.
  • Experience in working with Product Management or Engineering teams, executive leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience in developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in promoting or supporting advertising solutions within the Travel, Event, or Retail verticals.
  • Experience in storytelling and explaining technical products to multiple audiences to identify problem statements and recommend solutions.
  • Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and executive presence while communicating with business and technical leadership.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity to manage multiple cross-functional projects and drive the adoption of deliverables in matrixed environments.
  • Excellent project ownership and data-motivated problem-solving skills to synthesize input from multiple stakeholders and achieve critical milestones.

About the job

Global Product Solutions (GPS) is the link between Google’s product and the Global Business organization. GPS is a global team within GTM that serves as the strategy and product commercialization partner to Global Business Organization (GBO). The team mission is to deliver global vertical growth and value through product commercialization and vertical market expertise.

In this role, you will be focused on the commercialization of the Travel and Events vertical product solutions. You will be responsible for informing product strategy, orchestrating Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy, and acting as a thought leader to accelerate growth of travel and events feed-motivated ad formats within Search campaigns and Performance Max (PMAX), with focus on Google Customer Solutions (GCS) vertical growth.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000-$179,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute global GTM strategies for travel and event ad formats across Search and PMAX, establishing success metrics to track adoption and impact.
  • Translate product plans into market narratives and business collateral to drive adoption across Large Customer Sales (LCS) and GCS channels.
  • Synthesize feedback from advertisers and regional teams to influence product development, ensuring the roadmap aligns with the engaging landscape and user needs.
  • Manage end-to-end launch operations, including technical requirement prioritization, global business training, and cross-functional communication reviews.
  • Act as a global thought leader through roadshows and executive meetings, partnering with Product Managers (PMs) and gTech to align on commercialization and activation priorities.
