Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience in business development, partnerships in the mobile or advertising space.
  • Experience in the developer landscape and technology.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Arabic, French or Italian fluently, to collaborate with clients in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.
  • Experience in working with product specialists to shape and influence new and existing features.
  • Knowledge of the apps ecosystem, business models, distribution channels, industry landscape, and developer success metrics.
  • Experience managing complex partnerships.
  • Demonstrated thought-leadership, relationship building and management skills, with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

As a Strategic Partner Manager, you'll deliver Google-caliber client service, research, and market analysis. You will solve problems using Google and third-party data, developing strategic, forward-looking, customer-focused insights and solutions. Anticipating decision-making processes, you'll persistently uncover key client business needs and demonstrate how our product offerings can drive their growth. Collaboratively, you will define the outlook and strategy for their advertising to reach vast audiences.

In this role, you will provide the optimal blend of technical and strategic advice to enable partner growth through Google products. You will collaborate with leading developers, becoming their trusted partner for business expansion. You will adapt your engagement style across clients and cross-functional colleagues to establish shared goals, foster open communication, actively cultivate partnerships, and align your interests to maximize impact while sharing best practices. Furthermore, you will grow in ambiguous situations, anticipate evolving internal and external landscapes, operate effectively with limited guidance, and empower others by applying frameworks and input patterns.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to driving the growth of the EMEA Apps and Gaming business within the EMEA region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key strategic apps and gaming developers.
  • Advocate Google products and solutions to app developers across EMEA.
  • Represent Google at industry events including developer conferences, in-person meetings, and marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Product Specialists to influence mobile product strategy based on developer needs and competitive analysis, ultimately driving business growth for Google and partners through effective partner management and acquisition.
