Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in program management.
- 5 years of experience in leadership roles with/without direct reports.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Advanced degree in an engineering or technical field.
- 8 years of experience managing cross-functional/team projects.
- 6 years of experience in project/program management and delivering system software and hardware projects. Key contributors to multiple large-scale projects, driving technically span multiple teams in different geo locations.
- Expert at the practical application of program management principles and tools.
- Track record of quickly earning credibility based on your knowledge, flexibility and amazing accomplishments, including excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Understanding of software development life cycle and experience commercializing technical product launches, comfortable conversing on technical topics and products.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.
Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage various Engineering-specific programs and teams.
Pixel Device Software (SW) team is responsible for the core software running on Pixel Phones, consisting of major software subsystems such as graphics, display, audio, Ambient, sensors, authentication, security, etc.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategy, define, lead, and own the execution of strategic projects from conception to launch, ensuring alignment with the overall product goal and business objectives. Drive program schedules, identify risks, manage dependencies, and communicate status to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product Management, UX Design, Research, and gChips to deliver high-quality Pixel products.
- Manage complex stakeholder relationships, build alliances, and advocate for program needs across different organizations. Partner with Program Managers (PMs) and Engineers to plan and manage our multi-year roadmap.
- Drive program-wide process improvements to scale execution, quality and efficiency. Advocate AI adoption and drive implementation in the workflow.
- Manage a team of Technical Program Managers (TPMs), guide, foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.
