Director of Partnerships, Google One and Google Photos

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 15 years of experience working in Product, Commercial Partnerships or Partnership Strategy
  • 5 years of experience leading teams

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in relevant field
  • Technical product partnerships expertise with product management and engineering experience
  • Experience leading a team of senior, experienced business development/partnership managers
  • Knowledge of Google products or subscription products in the consumer and mobile apps space, and the commercial models therein
  • Ability to work in a complex environment, deliver multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously and drive key product initiatives across business functions and product areas
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex business or technical concepts

We collaborate across Google, ensuring a coordinated approach when engaging with our complex and strategic partners.

Within Global Partnerships, the ACMEGP (Android and Business Communications, Chrome, Meet, Enterprise, Google One, Photos) organization furthers this mission by managing partnerships for four of Google’s product areas including Google One/Photos, Chrome, Workspace, Meet, and Android and Business Communications. The ACMEGP Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to our users across a range of services and devices.

As the Director of Partnerships, Google One and Google Photos, you will oversee a team to drive the global partnership strategy and agreement making for our Google One and Photos products. You will work closely with Product Managers and Engineers, Global and Regional Partners, and other cross-functional teams to influence the development of these products and features, and define strategies to create value for Google One and Photos product areas.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $253,000-$363,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage critical partnerships for Google Photos across OS platforms including Android mobile devices, driving and closing agreements that materially grow the Google One business by new subscribers.
  • Lead our Gemini subscriber business generation strategy via the AI Premium tier in Google One.
  • Provide business thought leadership as part of both Vice President, ACMEGP Partnerships, and Vice President/General Manager Google One/Photos, and the broader Google One/Photos cross-functional leadership team.
  • Drive strategic initiatives in partnership with cross-functional teams to deliver on our business objectives for Google One/Photos.
  • Operate as a player/coach driving strategic partnerships/agreements directly, while also guiding a team of experienced leads.
