Strategic Partner Development Manager, Influencer Marketing Agencies

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, creator-services (or other creator-driven industries), creator commerce industries or a related role.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing complex, end-to-end partnerships.
  • Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.
  • Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.
  • Excellent communication and collaborating skills.

About the job

In this role, you will serve as a critical thought-leader for YouTube and the Influencer marketing ecosystem. Your role requires an understanding of the influencer landscape, YouTube’s role in growing and shaping the landscape, and a passion for fostering mutually beneficial partnerships with influencer marketing agencies. You will identify industry trends, gather engaged intelligence, and provide strategic guidance to internal teams to scale brand deals on YouTube. Your role requires strong relationship-building skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate complex cross-functional collaborations.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $106,000-$153,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan and implement projects and initiatives to grow the value of brand deals for creators on YouTube, including structured educational and training programs for influencer marketing agencies to maximize the value of YouTube.
  • Negotiate agreements and cultivate strategic partnerships with key leaders within influencer marketing agencies and SaaS platforms.
  • Manage day-to-day operations and partner relationships, fielding and prioritizing incoming requests and creating periodic reports (external and internal) on partner performance.
  • Produce analyses and recommendations to optimize performance as part of regular review cycle with managed partners.
  • Work cross-functionally with multiple teams from YouTube and the Global Business Organization, across Product, Go-To-Market, Sales, Marketing, Communications, Legal and Operations to bring the right solutions to key partners.
