Strategic Agency Manager, Google Customer Solutions, Swedish Market

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or account management, in the digital marketing/advertising industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience strategically assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, compelling narratives, storytelling and competitive selling.
  • Knowledge of agency business models, customer growth, and new business acquisition for agencies.
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics, and expertise in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance marketing.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in a sales context, and consistently overachieve quotas to drive growth.
  • Ability to communicate in Swedish fluently to engage with clients in the region or knowledge of the Nordics online advertising market.

About the job

As a Strategic Agency Manager, you will leverage your executive influencing skills to partner with performance media agencies, and focus on C-level stakeholder relationships and co-create business growth strategies with a portfolio of agencies by identifying and executing opportunities for growth.

In this role, you will work on increasing digital capabilities and strengthening long-term commercial growth partnerships within Google Customer Solutions agencies, driving scalable business growth and product adoption across the broader portfolio of agency-managed accounts. You will drive alignment on the allocation of the strategic resources for these agencies, to fuel your growth enablement initiatives, collaborating with client strategists and product specialists to deliver mutual business growth to our agencies, their customers, and to Google.

You will also develop the acquisition and promote capabilities of your assigned agencies across all levels of the organization in order to enable sustainable business growth for all parties.Google Customer Solutions (GCS) sales teams are trusted advisors and sellers who maintain a relentless focus on customer success by bringing the best Google has to offer to small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), which are the backbone of our communities. Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and evolve external relationships with partners across the ecosystem, while managing strategic partnerships with entities of all sizes.
  • Develop cross-product area strategic partner initiatives and construct go-to-market strategies to meet broader Google goals across rapidly changing industries.
  • Negotiate and drive agreements with potential partners and renewals/expansions for existing partners and build consensus with internal and external executives.
  • Manage relationships for existing agreements, realize and optimize value from partnerships, and cultivate effective long-term connections.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams across multiple geographies to incubate, launch, improve, and scale new features and user experiences across markets and functional areas.
