Strategy and Operations Business Analyst, Google Cloud (English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience working in data analytics, consulting, data science, engineering, finance or in a technical operations role.
  • 6 years of experience in management consulting, operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory.
  • Experience with data analytics, SQL, and dashboards.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in influencing executive leadership on investigative decision making.
  • Experience in data analysis, with the ability to solve problems in complex, fast-moving, and ambiguous business environments through solid data intuition and business acumen.
  • Ability to effectively communicate analysis and recommendations across a wide range of non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of Google tools (e.g., Plex, BQ, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills.

The Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy and Operations organization partners with the Cloud sales organization in developing GTM strategies, providing business critical insights using analytics, ensuring cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and helping teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the company priorities with strong day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

As a Business Analyst in Google Cloud, you will work in a team focused around improving the intelligence and narrative building and help us scale for the future. You will be confident working independently in a fluid, constantly evolving global executive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Define metrics to evaluate the performance of recommended opportunities and build reports/dashboards to measure performance. 
  • Drive program improvements through data driven recommendations and partner with cross-functional teams to implement/launch. 
  • Develop relationships with internal/external stakeholders and earn trust by telling stories with data.
  • Drive insights into business health and across products, regions, markets and effectively communicate key metrics/insights to various partners and stakeholders.
