Regional Manager, New Business Sales

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of experience in advertising sales, marketing, consulting, media, or working with advertising agencies.
  • Experience leading sales organizations and delivering business performance.
  • Experience in people management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in enterprise sales across Advertising, Media, Digital marketing, Consulting, Technology, BFSI industry.
  • Ability to thrive and foster a collaborative and positive work environment and inspire/influence teams to act as trusted advisors to large enterprise clients and deliver differentiated value.
  • Ability to optimize new business by presenting media solutions to customers and prospects, strong communication skills to engage C-level and provide executive account coverage.
  • Entrepreneurial and strategic problem-solving skills, including ability to initiate and lead regional strategic cross-functional projects to support mid/long-term business goals and customer experience.
  • Excellent leadership, influencing, organization, communication, people, and teamwork skills.

As a New Business Sales Regional Manager at Google, you'll work with a wide variety of end client advertisers and advertising agencies to deliver the optimal advertising solution for every account. You will lead a team of entrepreneurial and outgoing sales representatives to optimize opportunities.

In this role, you'll lead a team of entrepreneurial Sales Representatives to continually bring in new business growth for Google. You'll be working on the customer acquisition strategy and will work as part of a highly engaged Leadership team to grow and transform the business across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, grow, and coach a team of business development consultants with great sales leadership and culture of performance. Provide leadership, inspiration, mentorship, and career development to members of the team.
  • Work closely with the team to uncover and identify growth opportunities via understanding clients’ business models and objectives. Coach the team to serve as trusted advisors to deliver best solutions, solving clients’ business challenges and cultivating relationships with clients’ executives through in-person and phone based meetings and other communication channels.
  • Lead strategic planning and projects to identify key growth opportunities in the market, including quantitative analysis, industry research and defining go-to-market plans.
  • Drive exceptional collaboration across internal partner teams and leadership critical to your team’s success, building alignment and maximizing joint impact of teams toward common goals of great customer experience and sustainable business growth.
