Supply Chain Program Manager, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.
  • 5 years of experience with manufacturing, supply chain management, or fulfillment planning and execution in a New Product Introduction (NPI) role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or operations roles within a high-volume, complex manufacturing or technology environment.
  • Experience across all phases of a product lifecycle from prototype to mass production to end-of-life.
  • Expertise in material readiness, production control, and supplier performance management.
  • Ability to manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and complex production schedules.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate status and risks to cross-functional audiences.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and data-driven decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure clear-to-build status for data center equipment by driving material and supply chain readiness. Develop and execute strategies for global production ramp deployment, managing inventory and reducing excess risk.
  • Create and manage new processes and frameworks for material, supply chain, inventory, and production. Lead initiatives to reduce lead times and increase capacity globally.
  • Act as the primary liaison with suppliers, managing production schedules, POs, and strategic material commitments to meet project delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring continuity into production. Document global supply chain maps with details on suppliers, procurement, lead times, and logistics.
  • Represent Equipment Supply Chain in internal meetings, providing updates on project schedules and risks. Collaborate with Engineering, Planning, and Category Managers to drive improvements and scale the team's capabilities.
