Partnerships Acquisitions Manager, YouTube (English, German)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or management consulting within the media and entertainment industry, including influencer and creator networks or agencies.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
  • Ability to communicate in English and German fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing complex, end-to-end partnerships.
  • Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.
  • Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.
  • Ability to structure, analyze, and solve complex business problems, as well as deliver impact against concrete business goals.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Effective planning and time management skills and a keen attention to detail.

About the job

The YouTube Partnerships team drives the partner strategy and manages key relationships that help to make YouTube’s products more universally accessible and useful. As a Partnerships Acquisitions Manager at YouTube, you will help partners (content creators) reach broader audiences by bringing them onto the YouTube platform and ensuring that they are set up for success. Your primary responsibilities will include acquiring and developing relationships with prospective partners and helping them become successful on YouTube. In this role, you will understand partner goals and help them make the most of YouTube, while working with cross-functional teams to ensure our product sets our partners up for success.

We're seeking a dynamic Strategic Partnerships Development Manager for DACH to cultivate and manage high-impact partnerships, specifically focusing on creators and creator 3Ps. In this role, you'll be instrumental in building and strengthening relationships with key industry partners, consulting our partners on their YouTube strategy, and meticulously tracking their impact to drive both our mutual success.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire and onboard new content partners within DACH onto the YouTube platform.
  • Align product/content with partner business goals, provide guidance to drive adoption, and secure content required through agreements and acquisitions.
  • Support business and product innovation through goal-oriented programs and pilots, creator engagement, and beta testing.
  • Build a network of partners to serve as platform advocates, and represent YouTube at industry events.
  • Manage partner issues, educate on policies, and ensure agreement/corpus hygiene.
