Partner Engineer, Emerging Markets, YouTube (Arabic, English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
  • Experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
  • Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.
  • Ability to communicate in Arabic and English fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with medium to large media companies.
  • Experience with digital video technologies and streaming platforms (i.e., YouTube).
  • Experience in Data pipeline (SQL) and basic coding skills.
  • Understanding of AI and AI tools (i.e., Gemini).
  • Excellent project management skills.

About the job

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms or product partnerships.

You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.

As a Partner Engineer, you are a technologist managing YouTube’s media partnerships. You will optimize implementations, drive new business opportunities, and develop innovative solutions to ensure partner relationships.

You will work closely with YouTube's Product, Engineering, Strategy, and Content teams to address our partner's technology challenges. This role requires a individual to solidify YouTube’s position with both large traditional and new media partners.

You will manage technical engagements with major companies, ensuring the satisfaction and success of your partner portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical partnerships across content verticals, acting as the primary technical expert during Business Development negotiations to drive partner success on YouTube.
  • Incubate and develop innovative product solutions to empower content partners, resolve complex technical challenges, and drive scalable impact across the business.
  • Drive optimization and new business opportunities by leveraging YouTube technologies through technical prototyping and innovation.
  • Identify and apply AI/ML use cases across partner operations and internal workflows to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and deliver measurable business impact.
  • Ensure technical integrity and compliance for all partner integrations both new and ongoing by providing necessary documentation and performing detailed implementation reviews.
