Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
- 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
- Experience in C/C++ and Python programming.
- Experience with software engineering principles and software design.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
- Experience building or maintaining high-throughput services, or low-latency systems.

- Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
- Design, develop, and optimize the mission-critical, ultra-low-latency C++ back-end systems that power Google Ad Manager (GAM) and Real-Time Bidding (RTB).
- Build the platforms and frameworks that allow autonomous agents to safely interact with, analyze, and manage our core serving infrastructure and its complex engineering data.
- Transform deep system expertise and engineering artifacts into structured, AI-accessible knowledge bases and "skills" that empower agents to assist in complex engineering tasks.
- Create and deploy intelligent agents to automate critical workflows within our serving stack, ranging from code refactoring and performance analysis to managing project life-cycle.
