Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
- 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
- Experience in software engineering, machine learning, machine learning infrastructure.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Experience in software development, with proficiency in languages such as Python or C++.
- Experience in machine learning and AI, with a drive to deepen knowledge of the underlying hardware and software stacks.
- Ability to demonstrate technical knowledge working within cloud infrastructure and networking along with understanding of cloud computation or data center networking technologies.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and technical program managers.

Responsibilities
- Engage directly with customers to understand data center networking requirements, including connectivity, IP subnets, and compute node needs for managing TPU PODs.
- Architect and deliver the software and a reference network fabric design, partnering with customers to adopt or extend it.
- Develop and integrate networking configuration software to bootstrap customer TPU data center installations and enable successful turn-up.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to shape the future of ML infrastructure.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship, fostering the growth of team members.
