Training Regional Lead, Public Sector

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in professional services, sales, training, or IT.
  • 3 years of experience leading or supporting public sector projects across the private or government sectors.
  • Experience developing and delivering Go-To-Market strategies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with learning services sales or business development.
  • Experience engaging and presenting to senior executives.
  • Ability to be comfortable working in a fast growing, dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • Excellent business acumen with evidence of strategy development, planning, and data driven approach to deliver business results.

About the job

As the Training Regional Lead in the Customer Learning Services team, you will make an impact across Google Cloud’s most strategic Public Sector accounts. Training and certification is seen throughout Google Cloud as a strategic driver for our customer’s adoption and success. Public Sector customers are important along with their need to adopt Google Cloud skills to help them get the very best from their investment. You will ensure that our Public Sector customers are able to leverage all of the training services that are designed specifically to meet their needs, drive adoption, and support customer success.

In this role, you will partner with Public Sector leadership (e.g., Sales, Professional Services, Customer Engineering, Regional Marketing, and extended Learning Services) to ensure Public Sector customers have access to the best training solutions. You will work closely with all parts of Google Cloud and it is a great opportunity to make an important impact for our Public Sector customers. You will be responsible for managing the regional Public Sector training business and will help to recruit, onboard, and successfully manage training partners across the region. You will work across the Learning Services organization to leverage best practices and processes to develop your business and deliver results. You will work closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to drive the success of the business.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$191,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Partner with Public Sector and Learning Services leadership teams to develop joint strategies to drive proliferation of skills through key Public Sector customers.
  • Develop Go-To-Market strategies to optimize training and certification engagement at scale while providing high touch support for strategic engagements.
  • Strategize with customers to understand their training needs, conduct discovery sessions, and develop learning plans.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage regional training partners to help support business goals.
