Account Manager, Large Customer Sales

Minimum qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing roles.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in C-level level client relationship development and multi-market digital planning and execution management.
  • Experience in strategic and tactical digital advertising.
  • Ability to effectively influence key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Ability to efficiently troubleshoot and manage complex digital campaigns.
  • Passion for developing customer partnerships.

About the job

As an Account Manager for the Marketplace and Services, you will work with a diverse set of Finance clients in the UK. You will use your understanding of advertising and the Finance Vertical to protect and grow in-quarter business. You execute complete tasks within the scope of your team's account plan, delivering for your team in identifying customer needs and translating their objectives into action through campaign implementation and optimization. You will also execute tasks of data-driven strategic and tactical recommendations to customers, partner teams, and leadership based on analyses and utilize insights to influence others and drive change, and to support customer growth, align on opportunity/project timelines, and ensure OneGoogle solutions are presented to customers. You also engage in community contributions to improve and sustain our culture and operations, making Google and the Finance Sector a better place to work.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate service excellence to showcase clients' business value and encourage future growth of our partnerships.
  • Improve and educate customers on the latest brand products, betas, and insights to keep them up to date on opportunities across our solutions.
  • Use your prioritization and time management skills to balance urgent work with important clients in a high pressure environment.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customers' businesses and marketing objectives, and successfully pitch Google’s products to deliver against those objectives.
