Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in digital marketing, digital media or advertising business.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration.
  • Experience in building client relationships, client servicing, and solution-based promoting.
  • Experience in business or marketing.
  • Experience in collaborating and consulting with major customers with the goal of extending relationships, increasing the client and agency base and optimizing advertising growth.
  • Experience in media planning, negotiation, and measurement, with knowledge of traditional and contemporary/online marketing tactics and strategy.
  • Knowledge of the industry's issues, an outlook for its growth, and a commitment to advance client’s business.

Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. In this role, you will develop and manage relationships with businesses in the Apps and Gaming industry in Japan. You will be a marketing consultant and business advisor within Google Ads, with opportunities to go beyond Ads and into business scheme creation and new business launch with our clients. You will work with global business partners internally/externally. You will leverage business judgment to identify, educate, and engage customers with Google's latest advertising products and technologies. You will provide client service, research, and market analysis, anticipating how selections are made, understanding the details of campaigns, and persistently exploring, and uncovering the business needs of business lines. You will set the roadmap and strategy for how their advertising can reach users.Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted C-level business partner.
  • Work with internal and external product teams.
  • Leverage all available resources including optimization, marketing, and technical support.
  • Build relationships with customers and educate them on new product features.
  • Identify opportunities to increase advertiser performance and investment.
