Strategic Partner Development Senior Associate, Ad Platforms

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in Partner Management or Business Development in online advertising, data onboarding, or AdTech.
  • Experience identifying partners, analyzing and structuring complex agreements, and succeeding in negotiation and execution.
  • Experience operating within and across cross-functional teams (e.g., Product Management, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Marketing, etc.) to drive successful partnerships or projects.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage ambiguity in a rapidly changing business environment.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

The Global Ads Partnerships (GAP) team helps power and scale Google’s Ads products via strategic relationships with third-parties in the advertising ecosystem - including data providers, AdTech and MarTech platforms and research companies. Partnerships are critical to enabling Google Ads' most complex and strategic products.

This team works closely with Google Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams on new product initiatives and key strategic relationships. We focus on programmatic advertising platforms across existing and new channels (e.g., CTV, apps, display, retail media and video), driving non-standard emerging agreements across Google’s ad products for advertisers and publishers such as Google Ads, DV360, SA360, Campaign Manager, AdMob, Ad Manager, YouTube, and Google TV.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $103,000-$152,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Evaluate new business opportunities and build partnerships strategy and strategic business plans -- size market opportunity, competitive landscape, identify relevant partners in different regions.
  • Pitch to internal stakeholders and external partners globally; structure and close complex agreements.
  • Manage partner relationships globally to launch the agreement in collaboration with senior partner executives, and cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, UX, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Sales.
  • Drive product success with impactful partnerships.
