Associate Analytical Lead, Large Customer Sales

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field like Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, Economics, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience with marketing measurement and attribution techniques (e.g., offline measurement, MMM, MTA, attribution) and Google advertising products (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Marketing Platform, etc).
  • Experience with SQL, R, or Python.
  • Experience presenting insights to executive stakeholders and influencing decision-making.
  • Experience in statistical analysis and data visualization with excellent investigative and problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with Google's measurement products (Google Ads, Google Analytics, Firebase) and third-party platforms like Adobe Omniture, Appsflyer, Branch, and Adjust.
  • Understanding of digital advertising metrics, methodologies, and technologies including attribution, geo-experiments, incrementality and online-to-offline measurement.

The Planning and Measurement team at Google is a critical part of our advertising business, ensuring that our clients understand the value and impact of their campaigns. As an Analytical Lead, you will join our team and help drive better measurement practices across a portfolio of clients in e-commerce, gaming and travel.

In this role, you will be a trusted advisor and consultant, working closely with both internal teams and external clients to develop and implement robust measurement strategies. You will leverage Google's data and technology to provide actionable insights that improve advertising effectiveness and drive business results. You will possess strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with large data sets and data tools, and the work cross-functionally with advertisers, sales teams, and other members of the Product Specialist team.

We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with client stakeholders, understanding their business objectives and measurement needs. Craft media plan guidance across performance and brand.
  • Develop customized measurement frameworks and roadmaps for clients, encompassing a range of methodologies and Google's measurement solutions. Conduct in-depth analysis of campaign performance data, leveraging statistical techniques and causal inference to uncover meaningful insights and recommendations.
  • Design and execute A/B and multivariate tests to optimize campaign performance and demonstrate the value of different media channels and strategies.
  • Partner with Google Sales teams, Product teams, and Engineering teams to ensure alignment and drive product innovation.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in measurement, sharing knowledge and insights with clients and internal stakeholders through presentations, workshops, and thought leadership content.
