Analytical Consultant, Large Customer Sales (English, Italian)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in media analytics, strategy consulting, financial analysis, or a similar role.
  • Experience in translating data into business recommendations, creating and delivering appealing insights-based presentations or business cases with clear recommendations and aligned with customers objectives.
  • Experience in data analyses and visualization (e.g., Google Sheets and Slides), scripting (e.g., SQL, Python) and dashboard development (e.g., Looker Studio).
  • Ability to communicate in English and Italian fluently, to work with customers in Italy.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in marketing analytics, return on investment/financial modeling, or statistical analysis.
  • Experience in advertising from either the advertiser, agency or other media owner side.
  • Ability to work closely with sales and cross-functional teams and influence key stakeholders (internally and externally) across all levels.
  • Ability to have a proactive work attitude paired with strong strategic skills.

About the job

As an Analytical Consultant (AC), you will work with clients across various industries to optimize their online advertising strategies and help them achieve their business objectives. You will be the core point of contact for large customers on anything around data, in the form of analysis and strategic insights. You will do an in-depth search into data to uncover hidden opportunities and commercial insights for customers, to turn into compelling narratives. You will analyze their market coverage and Google campaign performance to spot new opportunities. You will develop data-driven methodologies to forecast returns and business outcomes based on client KPIs, improving our pitch effectiveness. You will help them optimize their profitability and branding investments and align their efforts with target audiences You will share these insights as a trusted consultant with the customers as well as to sales teams internally.

To further scale your impact, you will help identify solutions and analyses that other customers and teams would benefit from and work together with a cross-functional team to scale and automate them. You will promote data fluency by sharing insightful dashboards to visualize key metrics that support their business objectives. You will educate clients and partners on Google's tools and APIs.

We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive bespoke analyses for our high-priority customers to uncover hidden opportunities to optimize their online advertising Return on Investment (ROI).
  • Consult with clients as a strategic consultant, clearly presenting data-driven insights and recommendations that align with their business goals. Set tone and messaging for different stakeholders, from practitioners to senior executives.
  • Streamline processes by developing scalable templates, dashboards and scripts (together with supporting teams).
  • Empower clients and partners by creating internal dashboards and reports to democratize insights and by delivering training and guidance on using Google's data tools.
  • Work seamlessly with diverse teams and stakeholders to drive successful outcomes for clients (e.g., measurement specialists).
