Global Product Activation Manager, GenAI, YouTube

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in go-to-market, corporate strategy/planning, product marketing, program management, consulting or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 2 years of experience in the creator or tech industry partnering with Product Managers, or other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience in an analytical role, such as management consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of YouTube Product, creator ecosystem (including content creation) and competitive landscape, and experience presenting to senior audiences.
  • Ability to communicate and influence effectively, including strong presentation skills.
  • Motivated with high level of comfort with ambiguity, ability to learn quickly and flex across different subject matters and priorities, with high attention to detail.
  • Strong business sense with strategic thinking and distinctive problem-solving and analytical skills (e.g. SQL).
  • Passion for GenAI and emerging technology.
  • Proven track record of working with Business and Product/Engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.

About the job

The YouTube Business Product Activation team is responsible for bringing product to market and market to product. The team works closely with both business and product leaders to scale adoption of YouTube products across the partner and creator ecosystem. The core capabilities of the team include identifying and prioritizing product activation opportunities across the business, ensuring launch readiness, defining and driving execution on product activation across segments, understanding needs of partners and creators to provide Product teams with market feedback and prioritization to shape product roadmaps, developing content strategy, and tracking performance.

Our Emerging Experiences and Community (EMCO) team covers a range of products and features across Shorts, Gaming, Live, GenAI, Creation and Community. We ensure YouTube’s long-term success, collaborate with Product teams to advocate for and prioritize the needs of YouTube creators and partners on behalf of the YouTube Business organization, and help drive adoption of products and priorities across segments and verticals. You will interact with key stakeholders, senior executives, and cross-functional leaders as you drive alignment on product strategy and execution – and launch products that creators and viewers love.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$170,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Drive coordination and alignment across GenAI launches (e.g., comms, roadmaps, levers) and deliver strategic/horizontal efforts.
  • Define and shape GTM plans, execute CommDocs,  forecasting, and land activation for targeted GenAI launches.
  • Represent creator and partner feedback across our GenAI features to influence product roadmaps and strategies.
  • Conduct analyses/modeling to develop cross-product area GenAI scorecards, insights, and reporting.
