Operational Technology Technical Program Manager, Compliance, Safety and Risk Management

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management.
  • 5 years of experience in Technical Program Management within the data center, critical infrastructure, or security operations environments.
  • 5 years of experience utilizing agile project management methodologies to drive engineering efficiency and project delivery.
  • 5 years of experience with data warehouse design, building data pipelines, or developing vulnerability remediation tools for security applications.
  • 5 years of experience with Operational Technology (OT) security, Industrial Control Systems (ICS), or safety systems.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience with data analytics, big data, and Machine Learning technologies.
  • Understanding of Operational Technology (OT) security principles, architectures, technologies, and challenges.
  • Excellent portfolio of successful technical program management in fields relevant to data orchestration, visualization, and automation.

You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As an Operational Technology Technical Program Manager, you are innovating, building, and sustaining the security and safety systems in our fast-growing data center fleet. You will blend leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and deep technical expertise to manage projects that are central to the operational excellence and strategic growth of Compliance, Strategy, and Risk Management (CSRM). You will have the unique opportunity to make significant contributions to Google’s data centers, pushing the boundaries of innovation to make Google data centers a safer and more efficient place to work.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of a secure data warehouse for centralizing Operational Technology (OT) vulnerability information from sources.
  • Architect and develop data pipelines to ingest, process, and transform structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data from various OT systems and security tools.
  • Architect, build, and deploy a comprehensive vulnerability remediation and dispatching tool, ensuring seamless integration with the OT vulnerability data warehouse to facilitate efficient workflows.
  • Utilize agile methodologies and program management tools to enhance team effectiveness and ensure the timely delivery of security projects.
