  • 8 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience in working with federal healthcare delivery or federal Health and Human Services (HHS).
  • Must be eligible to obtain, or currently possess, and maintain an active US Government Top Secret (TS) security clearance.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certification in Google Cloud Platform and Project Management Professional.
  • 8 years of experience in technical program management in cloud computing.
  • Experience in driving cloud transformation programs in the commercial or public sector.
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

In this role, you will specialize in and be responsible for business and technical program management, governance, and orchestration of cloud engagements. You will be involved in interfacing with a team of Architects, Engineers, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Chief Information Officer (CIO) stakeholders with customers, partners, and peers in support of the delivery and execution of our large programs. You will plan and execute the governance of cloud adoption, IT transformation, or cloud migrations.Google Public Sector brings the magic of Google to the mission of government and education with solutions purpose-built for enterprises. We focus on helping United States public sector institutions accelerate their digital transformations, and we continue to make significant investments and grow our team to meet the complex needs of local, state and federal government and educational institutions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead the program management of multi-functional and Global Positioning System (GPS) Services projects for Federal Health agencies, covering program planning, delivery assurance and verification, tracking and reporting, strategic thinking, and risk and mitigation planning.
  • Help customers, partners, and Google teams navigate the business and technical processes for delivering Google solutions and coordinate with Google Engineering teams to meet government statutory and regulatory requirements for delivery quality, where required.
  • Engage Google Cloud engineering resources to manage the risks, issues and actions for accounts, and track them to meet the expected outcomes and timelines.
  • Organize various project requirements into clear goals and objectives.
  • Transform projects/processes into sub-projects and sub-processes that could be executed by other teams or partners.
