Strategic Partner Manager, YouTube DACH (English, German)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or in ad tech.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
  • Ability to communicate in English and German fluently, to engage with clients in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing complex, end-to-end partnerships, including identifying opportunities, structuring agreements, and forecasting business outcomes.
  • Understanding of digital ecosystems and market trends to inform strategic decision-making and product development.
  • Track record of executing prioritized projects autonomously within dynamic environments using structured methodologies to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to influence internal teams and external stakeholders to drive successful, high-impact initiatives.
  • Ability to resolve partner escalations while advocating for platform needs with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

About the job

As a Strategic Partner Manager, you will cultivate and manage high-impact partnerships, specifically focusing on creators and creator 3Ps. You will be instrumental in building and strengthening relationships with key industry partners, consulting our partners on their YouTube strategy, and meticulously tracking their impact to drive both our mutual success.

Leveraging your expertise in relationship building, negotiation, project management, and cross-functional collaboration, you will contribute to the strategic development of YouTube's partnerships in DE. You'll grow in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a strong understanding of Google's internal processes and products. Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary consultant for partners, developing comprehensive business plans and content strategies to align partner goals with platform growth.
  • Drive the integration of new features and optimizations through high-priority activations, while building a network of creators to serve as external brand advocates.
  • Secure critical content through strategic agreements, acquisitions, and robust pipeline development to ensure a healthy and different platform corpus.
  • Manage complex escalations, policy education, and copyright decisions by collaborating with Legal, Product, and Operations teams to ensure end-to-end resolution.
  • Support product evolution by managing beta pilots, developing frontline pitch tactics, and contributing to a collaborative internal culture through cross-functional mentorship.
