Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
- Experience developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies within networking, storage, compute hardware, databases, file systems, data analytics, cluster management, and other software infrastructure areas.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
- 5 years of experience with defining and delivering software products for developers or enterprise customers.
- Experience leading product management for AI-based products.
- Experience with the flow of training, tuning, and serving LLMs.
- Experience leading cross-functional collaboration with UX, engineering, and external clients.

This role is responsible for leading improvements in model quality on LLMs with a focus on developer use cases. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Define product strategy and ideas for improving data/model quality for developer focused use cases.
- Collaborate with foundation modeling and product teams to understand their workflows for model training/tuning, data quality analysis, and optimization.
- Develop paths to production for data quality and model optimization research that will benefit Gemini Code Assist and Google at scale.
- Experiment with diverse prompts to uncover the ways to interact with models across different contexts.
- Drive execution in collaboration with several Generative AI partner teams, and other cross-organization collaborator teams, with frequent leadership updates on customer outcomes.
