YouTube Sales Specialist (English, Dutch)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience creating customer-facing materials (e.g., pitches, narratives, or one-sheets) for sales teams.
  • 3 years of experience in advertising sales, marketing, consulting, or media (e.g., search, social, mobile, display, and video media).
  • 3 years of experience in consumer and market Insights, media measurement, and privacy landscape.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Dutch fluently as client facing role in the Dutch market.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with(in) large local or global brands and their media agencies as well as deep local knowledge of the AV/TV and digital Video landscape.
  • Strong commercial skills and experience with reach based selling.
  • Ability to develop and grow senior-level relationships with advertisers and agencies.
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects with a range of internal and external stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Track record of local network in the Netherlands and closing big media agreements.

As a YouTube Sales Specialist you have and build upon strong relationships with senior marketing and budget decision makers at a subset of large brand advertisers and their trusted media partners. You will deliver big YouTube pitches and close agreements spanning across video advertising, brand measurement, creative and targeting. You will showcase and educate advertisers and their agencies on YouTube solutions. In doing so, you'll shift mindsets toward a more holistic approach to video buying that better integrate YouTube with the traditional offline video offering, as well as social offering and be a thought leader in the market.

As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Responsibilities

  • Help customers grow their brands and reach their business goals with YouTube while positioning YouTube as a reliable and effective reach motor for advertisers.
  • Pitch to shift share from TV to YouTube and/or share of (international) branding budgets, converting one-off campaigns into always-on strategies, helping advertisers caring about context to buy the best of YouTube content.
  • Build and foster long-term senior relationships with key budget owners on advertiser and agency side (planning and buying agency counterparts), while taking ownership of Video/YouTube revenue development of subset of advertisers, and work seamlessly with account owners and teams.
  • Design, deliver and implement mid/long-term advertiser marketing & media strategies around Video/YouTube across awareness, reach, and consideration.
  • Work cross-functionally to help develop scalable advertising solutions around YouTube and Video in general (i.e., scalable activities, events etc.).
