  • Experience in the Payments domain.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience in program management, project planning, project execution, stakeholder management, risk management and cross-functional team collaboration.
  • Experience driving cross-product area/sites/teams programs without direct authority.
  • Experience with dashboards, TaskFlow, Buganizer, or Looker.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

We’re made up of multiple teams, building Google’s Advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as analytics. Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses with useful ads. We help grow businesses of all sizes from small businesses, to large brands, to YouTube creators, with effective advertiser tools that deliver measurable results. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the execution of projects within programs that have established processes and are critical to Google Ads for Account Management deliverables.
  • Work with engineers, product managers, and other program managers, preparing project plans, identifying and managing cross-project dependencies, ambiguities and risks.
  • Communicate with all levels of cross-functional teams (e.g., Engineering, UX, Product, Operations, Legal, Sales) and senior leadership regarding execution updates, resource requirements, issues, and priorities.
  • Contribute to operational models and processes to improve the predictability of project schedules, help with the introduction of better tools and automations for tracking and reporting progress to different stakeholders.
