Technical Curriculum Developer, App Modernization, Cloud Learning Services

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in cloud computing technologies, including Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), DevOps practices and automation tools.
  • 4 years of experience in collaborating with technical subject matter experts to develop training content and curricula.
  • 4 years of experience in designing and developing learning solutions in various formats.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certification in Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud Developer or Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Application Modernization solutions.
  • Experience in coding or scripting in any one of the following languages: Python, JavaScript/Node, Go, Java/Kotlin and Unix/Linux shell scripting.
  • Experience in creating direct lab activities.
  • Experience with Camtasia, Articulate Rise, Adobe Captivate, or similar e-learning development tools.
  • Understanding of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) concepts .

About the job

As a Technical Curriculum Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain technical learning content and curricula for various cloud roles. These roles include Application and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Developers, Cloud Engineers, Cloud Architects, and DevOps Engineers.

In this role, you will be able to translate technical content into effective learning content and curricula. You have a strong grasp of cloud computing technologies and learning-and-development tools and principles (especially instructional design).

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$191,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Dive into Google Cloud technologies, gaining direct experience, to understand the services and develop effective training for customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional subject-matter experts and partners for the development process.
  • Design and develop creative learner-centered training content and curriculum in multiple modalities, including instructor led training, on-demand interactive e-learning, videos, direct labs, job aides, facilitator guides, and resource materials.
  • Analyze perform needs and tasks, scope projects, and evaluate existing documentation to identify the most appropriate training approach and content to meet the learning needs of each audience across multiple global locations.
  • Ensure and drive best-practices standardization across all projects, content and curricula.
