Senior UX Programs and Operations Manager, gUP UXR

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of program management experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with the product development lifecycle.
  • Experience analyzing data and leveraging insights to drive strategy.
  • Experience managing risks (e.g. operational, product, team health).
  • Experience managing research vendors.
  • Experience managing large, complex research programs across large-scale organizations.
  • Experience with design, user research, and UX craft, methodologies, and systems.

UX Programs & Operations drives projects by increasing communication, streamlining the UX design process, and fostering a culture of user-centered development. You will join our multi-disciplinary UX team, collaborating with Engineering and Product Management, to create industry-leading products based on user insights.

As a UX Program Manager, you will combine expert project management with a passion for user experience to improve the design of products used by billions. Your role is to plan projects, define milestones, assess risks, create actionable insights, and ensure deadlines are met. You will harmonize the work of various UX disciplines and cross-functional partners to drive team objectives and create innovative experiences.

As a Senior UX Programs and Operations Manager on the gUP UX Research (UXR) Team, you will manage and grow scaled Trusted Tester programs. You will work with third-party vendors and multiple cross-functional teams to enable UX Researchers to deliver research that directly impacts feature launch decisions, UX design, and product strategy. In this role, you will improve operations, track vendor processes, and identify growth opportunities to optimize program impact and efficiency.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $159000 - $231000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and operational excellence across UX teams to deliver the highest level of trust-building and strategic counsel through all project interactions, while building strong collaborative relationships with appropriate stakeholders across program work.
  • Develop business cases and engagement with partners on continuous improvements and optimizations. Develop measurable, scalable, and repeatable processes/tools that drive seamless cross-functional collaborations/handoffs. 
  • Run and implement analytical efforts for broader or cross-functional projects, programs, and strategies.
  • Contribute to the definition, integration and reporting of key UX metrics that drive a culture of user-centered development based on program needs and stakeholder input. 
  • Manage research vendor operations, including vendor selection, program scope definition, and quality assurance.
