About the job

The YouTube Product Partnerships team drives partner strategy and manages the key relationships that help to make YouTube’s products more universally accessible and useful. Our strategic partnerships drive YouTube’s viewer and subscriber growth, platform enablement, and creator success globally. We know how to assess partnership opportunities in any situation, define a strategy, and work closely within our team, and with Product, Marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders to drive critical partnerships that help evolve our business.

As a Partnerships Strategy and Operations Manager focused on the YouTube Product Partnerships business in Asia-Pacific, you'll work closely with the leadership team to help the business grow and operate effectively, ensuring our teams are executing against YouTube’s most critical priorities in close alignment with regional and global cross-functional stakeholders. This includes driving deliverables for critical internal alignment and approval forums on strategic issues, preparing key leaders for internal and external commitments (e.g., quarterly business reviews, partner meetings, conferences), and supporting annual strategic planning and objectives and key results (OKR) processes. Your ability to quickly analyze a challenge with strategic and quantitative excellence will help propel strategic priorities across the team, and you’ll develop an expertise in the APAC region while helping to influence global business and product priorities.

At YouTube, we believe that everyone deserves to have a voice, and that the world is a better place when we share, and build community through our stories. We work together to give everyone the power to share their story, explore what they love, and connect with one another in the process. Working at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and boundless creativity, we move at the speed of culture with a shared goal to show people the world. We explore new ideas, solve real problems, and have fun — and we do it all together.

Responsibilities

  • Own internal/external executive-level presentations, including quarterly business reviews, product reviews, and partner strategy/agreement approval forums. Possess a strong sense of narrative and slide design to ensure materials are effective for discussions and driving decision-making.
  • Drive the annual planning and regional OKR processes with cross-functional leadership.
  • Lead critical strategic and operational projects based on emergent business needs. Participate in early discussions on behalf of the business with cross-functional teams to scope new projects.
  • Identify problems across the organization, create programs and processes to solve them, and influence cross-functional teams and leadership to bring them to life.
  • Partner closely with other functions relevant to the team, including Product and Engineering, Communications, PR, Marketing, Strategy, Finance, Legal, and Operations. Use cross-functional knowledge and seek to understand issues, trends, and perspectives that may influence the business.
